Salinas Animal Services (SAS) is a division of the
City of Salinas' Police Department. We provide animal control, animal sheltering, and licensing services for the City of Salinas.

The Salinas Animal Shelter is celebrating 10 years on Hitchcock Road. Join us Saturday, August 14th from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. for fun, food and furry friends!
To enter our Coloring Contest for the 10-year Anniversary, please download and print the Pets Coloring page and bring to the Anniversary Party or send it to 222 Lincoln Ave., Salinas, CA 93901 before August 14th. The winner to be selected on day of the event and you do not need to be present to win. Good luck!
Recent News
Our Spay/Neuter voucher program for Salinas Residents has been temporarily halted due to lack of funds. Residents can call the shelter at (831) 758-7285 after July 1st, 2010 to see if the program is able to restart.
