Need a break from the day-to-day drama? How about somewhere to just chill BEFORE and after school?

Come check out the new Teen Lounge at Hebbron Heights!
This safe, comfortable (and free) lounge allows teenage students to hang out and just kick back with their buds in an environment designed for youth. We offer pool, free use of Internet access on our lap top computers, the latest Xbox games being projected on a “larger than life” screen and a variety of other in-house activities. Need help with homework? Hebbron’s Teen Lounge now has the latest on- line tutors to help you with all your homework needs. Want help finding a job? Our trained staff is here to help you with filling out job applications, resume assistance and provide referrals and job searching tips.

Come over and relax, listen to good music and check out what we are offering here at the Hebbron Teen Lounge.

Volunteers Needed: Grievance Board
November 19, 2007
The City of Salinas is looking for volunteers who are interested in serving on the Grievance Board. The Grievance Board serves as a fair and impartial hearing body for City employees' grievances and disciplinary actions. The Board meets on call and Board members must be available to meet during regular business hours. Board members serve one five-year term and must be qualified Salinas electors.

Interested persons may obtain an application from the Salinas City Clerk's Office, 200 Lincoln Avenue, Salinas, 93901, 758-7381 or you can download one here from the city's website. Applications will be accepted until the vacancies are filled.

City Releases Stormwater Management Plan for Public Comment
October 12, 2007
The Plan discusses proposed activities and commitments that the City will undertake through the year 2009 to protect the community’s surface water quality and downstream water resources. The Plan will be finalized once the State Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) approves it.  It is anticipated that this will occur by February 8, 2008. more...

DRAFT - 2008 Standard Specifications, Design
Standards and Standard Plans

The City of Salinas plans to update its Standard Specifications that is used as primary reference for construction standards in the City. The Draft of the 2008 Standard Specifications, Design Standards and Standard Plans are now available for review and comment. Please provide any questions or comments regarding the specification and / or plans to Frank Aguayo at (831) 758-7427 by November 2nd.

Development & Operation of a Child Care Center RFP

The City of Salinas is requesting proposals from qualified, experienced child care providers interested in developing and operating a child care facility in Salinas.
