Police
Department
The
City of Salinas is located on the central coast of California. Salinas
is the county seat of Monterey County and the largest city on California's
central coast. The members of the Salinas Police Department operate
under the philosophy of Community Oriented Policing in an effort
to enhance the quality of life in the city.
We
are very proud of the many programs and partnerships that have been
developed within the Salinas Police Department and I invite you
to browse our
web site for more information. Whether you would like to learn
more about our PAL Program or our Neighborhood Watch program; the
information is here for you. You can also learn about the testing
process for the position of a Salinas Police Officer as well as
salary and benefits. You can even look at our wanted person page
or review our crime statistics.
As
you will find, there is plenty to see and learn and don’t forget
to sign our guest book. Enjoy your time with us and we thank you
for your interest in our department.
