APPLICATIONS WANTED The City of Salinas is looking for volunteers who are interested in serving on the Board of Appeals. The Board of Appeals determines the suitability of alternate building materials and methods of construction and provides reasonable interpretations of the provisions of the various building codes. The Board is composed of five members who serve indefinite terms at the pleasure of the City Council. The Board meets on call. Members are exempt from residency requirements. However they must be involved in Salinas through their business or employment. Interested persons may obtain an application from the Salinas City Clerk's Office, 200 Lincoln Avenue, Salinas, 93901, 758-7381 or from the City Website at: www.ci.salinas.ca.us. Completed applications should be received in the City Clerk's Office by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2008. |
