DESIGN REVIEW BOARD The Design Review Board reviews development in the Salinas Redevelopment Agency's Central City Redevelopment Project Area and ensures harmony with Salinas' unique character. Members of the Board represent various professional skills and/or segments of the community. The Board is comprised of two licensed architects, one allied professional (landscape architect, building or interior designer), one Planning Commissioner, one licensed building construction representative, two knowledgeable members of the business community and two members of the community at large. Members are exempt from the residency requirement. However, they should be involved in Salinas through their business or employment. Board Members serve a six-year term.
